Our first days together,
me just in from Manila,
to find her waiting there
at Tacloban Airport.
... The first six days
were at Jasmin Beach Resort,
on the Island of Samar,
2 hours drive from Tacloban.
Today Ai is 13 weeks pregnant.
She can no longer
get into the floral shorts
she wore at the resort.
I wonder how huge
her belly will be
in the full nine month term.
