Nine weeks?

We are not exactly sure.

The first doctor told Ai that it was earlier than possible. We only got together for the first time on 8 January. Before that we had exchanged internet messages and phone calls. Plus Ai was not yet fertile after a period. So it is now some nine weeks going from , say, 15 January.

"Oh, ok forget vasectomy f dats d case.

I want us both to enjoy our sex life.

We will make babies as many as d sperm you have honey pie.

So they know how in love we are."

Heartbeat

"Doctor say I am overstressed!
Heard heartbeat of our baby and doc say normal.
- Just need rest."

This followed a day when Ai had unbearable pain from a cramp in the lower abdomen. - She was
afraid the baby would
miscarry.

So to hear the heartbeat,
for the first time,
was quite a relief.

The cramp had also receded
this morning.

A Philippina in Australia?

MELBOURNE is cosmopolitan You can see this in the street. There are not so many from the Philippines, but many arrivals from China.

The citycentre, downtown, has become
one of the focal areas of Asian food. But I think Ai will miss the Philippine language(s), her first level of expression, English always good, but less easily available for conveying that point!

But there is always the text message, the phone (!!!) and the internet.

Cheeky Lulu!

She told me,

"Wow u have a nice body on d blog dear friend!"

I know it was sarcastic!

I know her hon!

Poor Aileen..... She's a DEVIL to friends eyes!

Saturday 3 March 2007

Today Ai took the bus to Tacloban.

The usual saturday trip. But intended to make a second visit to the ob-gyn, and to choose a bridal gown,
and to meet me on webcam via Yahoo.

She had been struggling with sickness from day to day, nearly every day. The bus journey was an ordeal.

She chose a different doctor this time, the last one did not answer questions and seemed unfriendly. So the message came through, that it was good news. Referred for blood and urine tests, but otherwise managing the pregnancy. Some medicine to reduce sickness. Plus avoid acidic foods.

On webcam, Ai looked happy. This time the breasts not much bigger, but a definite swelling of the tummy!

Baby due on 10 October!

Let's change the date of the wedding!

Tonight, Thursday 1st March, in a good night phone call, Ai has asked to change it to the next day, Monday, April 9, because of the pressure of the Easter week and famly commitments.

And she asked to see a picture of the train on the journey each day from lara to Melbourne.

Here is a picture I took at 8.20 this morning on Lara Station as the Warrnambool to Melbourne express arrived.

As you see, it is a very old but powerful diesel locomotive, ant the carriages are 25 years old. But comfortable, and there is a buffet on board.
